Asahikawa is famous for ramen and therefore you will find endless options. Personally, I don’t eat meat or meat broth so my options or more limited but I was very pleasantly surprised to find I did have more than a few options. Ichikura in Asahikawa has the usual meaty options as well as a pescatarian friendly scallop ramen (pictured above) and a veggie ramen as well as veggie gyoza. Soup was hot and hearty just like any ramen should be. I’ve been back several times and recommend it especially if you have someone in your group with diet restrictions.
